Our Story

When considering a building project, it is important to consider the builder’s reputation. Together, Kevin McGinley and his wife, Connie, have been helping people realize their dreams since 1978, making McGinley Construction one of the most trusted names in Las Cruces. Today, Kevin and Connie are running a family-owned and operated business with help from their son, Ryan, and a team of talented staff.

Commitment

As past president of both the Las Cruces Home Builders Association and the New Mexico Home Builders Association, Kevin McGinley has helped establish a higher standard for all home builders. Kevin has been named "Builder of the Year" by both Local and State Home-Builder Associations, and as "Remodeler of the Month" by the National Home Builder Association. As founding chairman of the Las Cruces Home Builders Association Remodeler's Council, Kevin is also a Life Director on the New Mexico Home Builder Association Board of Directors. Additionally, Kevin participates in Builder's Trust, a self-insured contractor workers' compensation program developed on a state level for the benefit of state and local home construction. Kevin has been a Board Member for this organization since 1992, and held the position of Chairman for two years.

Kevin became involved with the Greater Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce in 2000. He has served on several committees and thoroughly enjoys the opportunities for community involvement that being a chamber member allows. Our company is also proud to be a bronze contributing partner of the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA). Through extensive community involvement, Kevin has developed a more involved understanding of the community and revels in the opportunity to make a continual contribution to the community that he and Connie have been a part of for so long.
